Updating after five years more of recovery.
What a life we are now able to live. For so many years I was in bed and unable to do anything even for myself. Today it’s much different! We are able to volunteer with several different non-profits because of my computer skills. Over the last five years we have moved back to Arizona, purchased a new home and have gotten involved with several non-profits including our church, a mission agency and several others that give care to the underserved people in our society.
I have been helping fix computers that are having problems
or finding replacement systems that will handle the work better. I set up a help desk to help the people that
are using these machines. I can access
their systems over the internet and teach them how to use a particular program
or figure out why their computers are not working as they had.
Travel we have, since my recovery ten years ago we are on
our fifth new truck. Lots of miles
helping others. Our current truck is
just a year old and has twenty-eight thousand miles on it. We have done everything from helping people
with fibro/cfs get a start on their recovery.
We have spoken at lots of groups about where I came from and how life is
now. I have even written a workbook to
explain in simple terms what has worked for me and many hundreds of others
through the use of the workbook.
I have to say that helping people is very satisfying. To see someone that begins to see their life different
because of something we shared with them about how our fibro bodies work and
what may be lacking in our diet. We have
done all this because we want to give back for the way God has blessed us after
some terrible years of sickness. I say WE
because I couldn’t do what I do without the help of my wife of nearly forty-four
years.
I hope your reading this blog with help you learn about what
has given me back my life. Unfortunately,
the clinics that I went to help me recover, no longer exists. Because of that the doctor that created the protocol
that helped me is still available to help.
We spent about fifteen thousand dollars getting the treatment that
brought me back to where I am today. It
was worth every penny and I would do it all over again if necessary. But for the last nine years I have been able
to maintain my health by using some supplements that are available to restore
my energy and keep my hormone levels where they need to be.
